This has absolutely nothing to do with Pocket PCs other than that mine will be accompanying me on the WALK.
Every year thousands of Churches, a number of Synagoges and Mosques, and other organizations participate in CROP WALKs. The CROP WALKs are a way of raising money which goes directly to projects to combat hunger throughout the world. Church World Service, who created the CROP WALKs, emphasizes teaching people and providing resources to allow them to be self-sufficient (rather than relying on continuous hand-outs).
