Hi All

Now's here a weird thing! I installed a couple of new Today plugins...decided they weren't what I wanted and uninstalled them.

Now, when I try and sequence (move up or down) the remaining plugins, to get them in the right order for me, although I can see them 'moved' in the plugin screen, when I click 'OK' and return to the Today screen, they're in a different order!!!

ie they don't seem to resond to the sequence I've set in the plugin screen

Any ideas anyone? :?:

This still seems to be a common bug. Ive had this with every Ipaq Ive owned from the 3630, 3660, 3870 and now 5450. The only way I have found around it is to move all of the delselected ones to the bottom and not leave any at the top, amongst selected ones.
I know its annoying but if you just play with it a bit, it usually works out.

I recall hearing that you could fix this in the registry. If you go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items and then view the key for each item, you should see a value called 'Order'. Change this for each plugin with a new number putting them in the order you want.

I'm pretty sure I tried this a long time ago and it worked.

As it's a registry hack, proceed at your own risk. 8)
