Password on a 5455 with 2003

:?: I upgraded my 5455 with the Pocket PC 2003 disk. I have been pleased with the performance for the most part, but have noticed that no matter what time I set for the password function, it asks for my password every time the device is off for more than 5 minutes. (Even if I have it set to 24 hours, it still asks for the password after only 5 minutes.)

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone else know of a cure for this problem?

Yes it has been noticed by others, and no, there is no 'certain' fix for it - it has been suggested that it is related to software that may have been installed, as a hard reset by some has removed the problem - no one has produced any concrete commentary on what app may be the issue, but 'Today' enhancements & Start Bar apps have been mentioned....

There are a few threads here about it I think and also at other sites.
