Food for thought. Now, $450 will soon be able to get you an iPaq 4155, and nowadays that's considered a high price.

*Sigh* The used PDA market dies so, so very fast. :boohoo:

Well I paid a quite a bit less than that (about $600 Australian) for a brand new Jornada 568 around about that time and have not looked back since.

That said the prices of PPC have certainly dropped (at least they appear to have here in Europe where I am at the moment) and I expect that my next PPC purchase should give me a lot more bang for the buck.

Im glad that PPC are now affordable for nearly anyone, they will become increasingly popular and this means more to add on to them!

I was looking at the 568 a while ago for 500 CAD, and I got my 2215 for only 60 CAD more. This was when they were getting rid of the 568 and the 2215 had not made its appearance.

Yeh the pricing of the Jornadas has been pretty weird in retail outlets here in Ireland. Even now you can find the occassional 568 for sale new at over €700 which is only about €100 less than a new Ipaq 5540!

I was lucky when I got mine. I hope I will be as lucky when it comes around to getting a replacement.
