Well I for one am not convinced. I just went to their site and tried out the demo and found it pretty tricky. As far as I can see if you are a touch typist then you would have to completly relearn the key positions and "overwrite" your instinctive finger movements.

I can only talk for myself, but it did not work for me and I cannot imagine wanting to put in the amount of effort required to relearn my typing skills.

I've had one for over a year, but don't use it much...

It takes some getting used to, with the right hand side of the keyboard mirrored onto the left, but after a while I could type - slowly :-)

I put it away when I moved house, but I'll try to find it and have another go.

Given you need to relearn typing a little, I'd prefer to go the whole nine yards and look at chording keyboards I also have a Cykey (SP?) http://www.bellaire.demon.co.uk/newcykey.htm which is smaller still. I have the old wired CyKey, but the new one looks interesting and could be PocketPC compatible...

I'm always searching for a better input method but I have some concerns with this.

1. It seems to be a good idea to type with one hand, leaving the other free for stylus or other use. I would need to type with my right hand however which this keyboard doesn't seem to be designed for.

2. Wires? Yuk!

3. My typing isn't very good on any normal keyboard, let alone learning again.

4. Doesn't seem to be compatable with any PPC.

5. $300???!!!!!

Pocketop is still the best I've found to date.

$300???!!!!!

Holy Cow!!! My PDA was cheaper than this! Severely overpriced! I didn't even noticed.

Like this concept, though:

This may be a good idea, but NOT for me, and at THAT price. The ipaq foldable keyboards are fine, and I can type WAY faster like this than with that half thingamajig. I mean, comon, why would I want to pay 300 dollars to UNDO my good typing skills now, only to learn how to do it for my PDA, and then get confused AGAIN by going home and typing normally. The keys are the same on the full size keyboard on the PDA. Why bother? Its cheaper the better way :!:
