View Full Version : Can you access a directory in a Mac from Virtual PC?

As a matter of fact, the concrete situation would be this:

You sync a PPC to a Mac using Virtual PC and ActiveSync.
Where into the Mac do you save files created in the PPC so you can open it using, say, Word for Mac or any other software for Mac? And how?
Can you access a directory in the Mac from Virtual PC so you are able to share and work with the files?

Macs handle PC based files fine, they can't open an .exe but can download and open a .zip to extract the .exe, then copying it or can drag and drop it into VPC for opening. VPC "sees" all Mac directories using "shared folder" and "shared volumes." It can't open a Mac specific file but all others such as .jpg, .doc, etc. It all works quite seamlessly, if somewhat slow. Is is emulation, afterall.
