h5555 sound problem

Like most people we are confused, I "hard reseted" about 4 times the sound appears good for hours, then install all kind of 3th party sofwares, also tested each time if the sound was ok, then for no reason problems as indicated by many. unsatble same times sound works sometimes not. even if I go back and delate all the sofware one by one I will go to bare minimum and the problem stay till hard reset, then start again with a different set of sofwares and same happened, unable to determine which is cosing the problem unless the only comun is the h5555.

Called HP they claimed no problem with unit, problem with 3th party sofware.

Hope help come, sad purchased this unit with the intetion to have better then previous (3800 series) now this... hate to miss appoinments because no alarms.

Any solutions?

i don't know if this will help, but with my 5455 i used to have to open the ipaq audio and adjust the bass line - then the sound would adjust to normal. my problem was that the sound was too distorted and bass-ridden. don't know if it will help, but i thought i would suggest it.
