How can I play poker on my compaq ppc

I tried downloading the poker software, through my verizon air card 555. When the download was complete, it pops up ............poker exe. is not a valid pocket pc application. Is there a way to do this. A friend said I may be able to go to some site for ppc's and somehow go thru them. I know very little about all of this.Any help on how I can get this poker download to install on my ppc, would be very helpful!

There are 2 methods of installing applications on your PPC.
1. Files that can be executed (installed) directly on your PPC.
2. Files that must be installed through activesync.

The file you mentioned above looks like the second type. Try downloading it on your desktop, and run the poker.exe at your desktop, while connected through activesync to the PPC.

If that does not work, try downloading the PPC2002/PPC2003 version of poker.exe.
