Does anyone know if Audiovox, or any battery merchant for that matter, sells a replacement battery for the Maestro? I've been all over the internet and no one seems to have them. Would a battery for a different model of Toshiba work? Thanks for any help.

You might be able to get PocketPCTechs (http://www.pocketpctechs.com/) to do the job, although it's not listed on their site.

Also, if you can find a replacement battery for the Toshiba e570, that will most likely work. They are essentially identical devices except for the stamped name and 32MB of RAM more on the e570.

Although Toshiba's support is not so good, it may be better than Audiovox's. After all, Audiovox essentially just resells some Toshiba devices.

Thanks, I'll give both options a try. :)

As far as Audiovox support goes, you're right, they're really bad.

For everyone who has struggled to find a battery for their MAestros...

Laptops for Less sells a replacement battery for the Audiovox Thera, which is the same as the Maestro.

They also show you how to replace it. I replaced my daughters Maestro battery as well as my Thera battery. It was not difficult.

Good luck!!!
