Has anyone ever tried this? The Electric Dog Ventures PDA-ir (http://www.myelectricdog.com/PDA-ir.htm).
I don't know about anyone else, but in my house the kids are always losing the remote, and I am wondering if this would be a good solution (they know better than to mees with my Axim).

My biggest concern is, how programmable is it? When any of my remotes get lost, I can get up off my backside and do the old fashined manual change, but with our X-Box that we also use as a DVD player (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/dvdplaybackkit.htm), there is no manual contols if the remote can't be found... I was wondering how hard it would be to program this to run the X-Box as a dvd player.
Any suggestions?
