View Full Version : 2 PPCs + 1 desktop: How do you keep your syncs separate?

If my wife ever gets a PPC like me, how would we keep our personal email, calendar, tasks, etc. distinct during the ActiveSync process?

We have a single desktop PC. My wife uses Outlook Express to manage her email (she doesn't use it for anything else). I use Outlook 2000 (for email, calendar and tasks). When I sync, everything is fine because the sync process only works with Outlook 2000, not Outlook Express.

How do homes with multiple PPCs sync from a single desktop computer, and still keep their personal information separate and distinct from the other member of the house?

You don't say what version of windows you are using.

Cetainly in windows xp (and probably 2000) you could just have separate logins and then keep all your data including activesync conections.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you very much! The last post on the PPT thread you supplied fits the bill very nicely.
