Palm Reader, is being acquired by Palm gear. And Palm gear has had a 'history' of strange business practice.

It seems the general opinion is.
-be cautious with personal information after the acquisition
-Redownload all your eBook now, just in something happens to the 'you can re-download your book' agreement.

Brighthand also reported this. One particularly disturbing sentence from the article --

"PalmGear is still in the process of deciding whether it will continue to offer Pocket PC versions of the Palm Reader." 8O

I wonder what percentage of their sales PPC owners account for; I don't know why they'd want to lose the revenue.
