I'm new to PDA's in general, and just bought a HP5455. I travel Internationally, and therefore, a cell phone is impractical. I can use land lines to connect, but need to connect a "conventional" modem to my 5455 in some manner. Three options seem to present themselve:
1. PCMCIA modem thru an expansion pack.
2. CF modem through an expansion pack.
3. Wireless to a BlueTooth Modem such as the Billionton BT56R.

Maybe there are some options I'm missing. Any advise would be appreciated.

well you trying to connect the iPAQ or the Laptop. The iPAQ already has bluetooth so how are you looking to connect? 56K stuff? LAN? Wi-Fi?

Sounds like you are just trying to connect to a landline dialup ISP. Any of the options you mentioned are viable.

The PCcard is hindered by the potential lack of PPC drivers because these are seen as being mostly used in Laptops. The CF is a good bet. The BT seems a bit pricey to me but does give you more freedom since you aren't limited by the cord length.

The ket is to ensure what you get is comptible with the phone systems in the countries you want to use it. They aren't all the same you know.
