I recently purchased a Linksys wireless CF card and installed the latest driver from their website. When I try to start the monitor program on my PPC, the display blinks and nothing else happens. Also, the light on the CF card only blinks once when inserted into the slot. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks :?

verify that your ssid is set to the same one you're using in this particular network. if the ssid's don't match, you don't get signal. if you're sure the ssid is set right then you probably need to check how your wifi network is setup. stuff like channel / adhoc infrustructure. etc.

Well this is certainly not good news. I thank you for replying though. I guess I'll contact Linksys and see what the status is on the new driver.

Thanks again.

Hi folks,
This link will take you to a site with an application that will have you up and connected in no time.
http://www.senao.com/service%20&%20support/drives%20download.htm

Download the wlan for wince300.exe and run it. Then do a soft reset, insert your card, and when it asks which driver it should use, type in
wlannds.dll. That's all there is to it, and it works perfectly on my 2210.

I tried the last suggestion and I keep getting "Unable to connect to the Wireless NetCard. Is it inserted?" I get this when I try to run the WLAN Status Icon utility. Any more suggestions?

Thanks.

I do recall getting that same message, if I remember correctly I figured it was from having the card inserted before the program was installed and the soft reset performed. I think I would remove the program from the ipaq, then soft reset, then run the program again. One more soft reset, then insert the card and that's when it should ask you which driver to use. Hang in there, when you get it going it works great.
