These are 2 totally different PDA's. The 1900 line is a value, or bargain line PDA. The 3900 series is a high-end PDA.

For memory, expandability, and growth, I'd say the 3955. If you want something small, and basic, the 1930 will be a good choice.

However, you have to ask yourself, "What do I want to do with my PDA?" If you want to do more than basic PIM stuff, then go with the 3955. It will take you farther. If all your interested in is just Contacts, Appointments and Tasks, then the 1930 will be an excellent choice that saves you some money.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

thanks, i have a 3955 and extremely happy with, but with the price of the 1930 i might even purchease it as an extra, and take it with me when i dont need internet/the pcmcia HD and would just need the basics

however i want to confirm that it wouldnt really be a pocket pc to replace the 3955 in terms of capabilities

...i think the 1930 will be a huge hit- comparing it to zire makes the zire laughable (tinnnny B&W screen, 2mb of memory ouch)
