Wireless software ??

I'm looking for (it would be nice if it was free) software for my iPaq 3955 that will show me the signal strength while I am connected to my wireless home network. It would be nice if it would reside in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Any ideas?

It's not free, but have you tried HudsonMobile's IP Dashboard? It's a pretty handy today screen plugin to show wireless connection info. It also has an option to show a meter up on the menu bar, so that's visible from other programs. You can get a trial from either Handango & PocketGear.
