I ran into a friend who asked me the following:
"Is there a way to get Activesync to start up Outlook and download new mail automatically? I hate to keep Outlook running all the time. Plus, I've started syncing remotely through my WiFi more often, so I can't even start Outlook manually in that case."
My first reaction is, what's so wrong about leaving Outlook open?!! That alone would solve your problem!
But he doesn't want to, SO....
Anyone know of an alternative, perhaps 3rd party if necessary? He claims he used to do this with his Palm device...
