Ok, I do not yet have a PPC, but was wandering why a 256 mb Compact Flash card is 60 at wal-mart, and the 256 mb SD card is 100? Is the SD higher quality or what?
Thanks,
Matthew

SD cards are newer, and have a smaller format (higher development costs due to miniaturization). I have both CF and SD cards, and I've never really noticed a difference, although I hear that some CF cards are faster for some applications than comparable SD cards.

It's the whole paying for the size thing. Laptops are the same thing. You pay to shrink the parts.
