ActiveSync Start sound not working on 5550

The ActiveSync start sound refuses to work on my 5550, although the end sound does. Any thoughts?

I would ehm.. turn them all off. ;)

Though this doesn't seem to work on my NT install.. they still play. I had to manually edit the wavforms to get AS to be quiet.

It is disabled by default. Have you enabled it? (silly question, but!!!)

1. Select and event: ActiveSync: Begin sync
2. Select how to be notified tick in Play Sound - Infbeg
(sound plays on test)

but silence for the 5550 when it connects!

I have End sysnc set with Infend, and that plays.

My 5555 does the same thing, and I've seen other posts (at BH, I think) on the same topic.

Mine works great!!! It is strange since both have the same ROM version... 1.00.10

I have the same issue on both my 5555 and my 1940. Neither will play the start sound for Active Sync via USB cable ... they do play when I use WIFI on the 5555 and Bluetooth on the 1940 to sync.
