Disabling backlight power saver during slideshow

Sorry for this potentially dumb post but I have not had any luck searching on the net... :|

During a slideshow (iPaq Image Viewer on 2210) can I temporarily disable the power saver on backlight? I hate to have to go to system to disable it for real.

Have you tried Stay on. Just after finding it quite by accident after looking for somthing else.
