Disappearing files from ipaq file store

I got a strange problem with iPaq File store on 3870.

New files copied to it disappear on their own and when I try to delete it says
"Access is denied." That happens also after soft OR hard reset.

I could resolve this by reflashing the whole ROM, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Anyone with similar experiences?

The ipaq filestore driver is not perfect. I have seen on more than one occasion that if there is no space left on it the OS will still try to write to it and then damage the whole filestore. Only solution is to get the reformat-utility and reformat the filestore. Look on brighthand for a thread called "lost ipaq filestore" or similar.
