I know that you can purchase SD cards with programs on them and run them from them, but can you take programs that you download, like a game, and run them off a CF or SD card?

Thanks for you insight...

Yes-What you do is when you're installing from Activesync say no to install to default location. THen you'll have the option to install to storage card. You don't want to do this with programs that start at boot up though, things like Today Plug-Ins.

Yep you can iinstall programs on SD or CF cards.most of the time no problem.

Some (but very few) require you to install on the pocketpc itself.

If you are using ActiveSync and an installer it will ask you if you want to use the default location or choose another just pick the location you want.

Anything without an Installer you have to do by hand to the location you want plus if required setup shortcuts.

If you have copied over a .CAB file to CF or SD or whatever and run it, it will just install to it default location.

Hope thats clear enough.
