I was wondering if any of you use your PocketPC to do astronomy? I just tried out what i think is a theatrical gel (like for the lights) to make a really, really dark screen cover for my pocket pc. What do you use software wise, and how do you combat night vision issues?

Thanks

I loved Astronomy in college - was one of my favorite courses. I don't do anything now but I did run across this software. Pretty interesting stuff. Better have a card ready thought, these programs aren't small.

There was a review of Pocket Stars (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13176) here.

If you want freeware, check out Alfcen.com (http://www.alfcen.com/pocket) and Leo's Void (http://personales.jet.es/leobueno/).

There's also Software Bisque (http://www.bisque.com), which seems to make a variety of astronomical software.
