5555 wants to connect while I'm using AvantGo

I must have some setting wrong on this new OS, because when I use AvantGo offline (on a plane, perhaps), I will click on a page to view, and the balloon pops up saying it wants to connect me to Bellsouth (the dialup that I use with the cable connected to my StarTac).
Never had that happen with my 5455...

Any thoughts?

Just upgraded my 5455 to 2003. Some things are not as easy as they where before are they? I guess it is a learning curve, Microsoft has changed Connection Manager again. Not sure yet if it is for the better or not.

I had the same problem. Take a look at Active Sync on the PDA. There are settings there that can make it try to connect at various times.
