Hi, I'm new to Pocket PCs, so stay with me here.

Well, I just bought a new Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC. I know this has an XScale processor. Thing is, I want to play that Leo's Flight Simulator game. This game is for ARM processors or MIPS. Can I play the ARM version of this game on an XScale pocket PC?

Thanks for your help.

Yes you can. XScale emulates ARM instructions.

Yes you can. XScale emulates ARM instructions.
The XScale uses an ARM core, so does it really "emulate" the instructions? I only ask because that would imply the XScale would run the software more slowly than if it supported the ARM instructions natively.

SteveFrankly I don't know! :?

Perhaps the better answer would have been XScale is backward compatible with StrongARM?
