Hi there

I've read a lot of posts about the reliability of the Sandisk cards. Is anyone out there using a the 256 MB cards with their iPAQ 2210. Are they working OK or are there issues of reliability or performance.

I am awaitng delivery of my 2210 and am looking at memory cards. The Sandisk cards are the most readily avaialbe here (Australia) and are selling for about $110 AUD on eBay. They retail in shops for about $175 AUD. Other brands are not available at those prices here and many of the deals avaialbe in the US aren't that attractive when you include shipping to Australia.

TIA

I use a SanDisk 256 card in my 2215... I've been using that card for about 8 months now, and have not had any issues. Prior to that, it was in my 3870 and Canon GL2 camcorder, and no issues there either.

Ive been using a 256Mb card in my 3970 for about nine months, now I have switched to a 2210 and the card still works fine. I even bought one for my wife and her 1940, and she has had no problems yet either (touch wood )

I live in Ballarat and am taking delivery of my new iPAQ 2215 tomorrow.
I have both CF and SD and expect them to both work fine.

Just make sure that who is ever selling you this gives you the free CF camera as the first 1000 units in Australia comes with this as a bonus and you are definately in the first 1000.

Hope I get the free camera as I ordered from HP in the first couple of days. However, when I contacted them this morning they said that it might be a couple of weeks till I see my 2210

Until then I'm stuck using a crappy old PalmVx

Thanks for the heads up. Actually I a friend who works at HP is getting the 2210 for me. I had the option of saving a fair bit of money or getting that camera. I chose to save money as I already have an excellent digital camera.

I can't wait for the unit though. I sold my previous iPAQ 3970 on ebay three or four weeks ago. Actually for once I have done well. I will actually make money on the changeover.

That's interesting. One of the retailers near me (Calculator King) had stock in hand late last week and called me. I let it pass as I had already ordered mine and as I can get a pretty hot price through work as well as putting the purchase through as a salary sacrifice.
