Some ebooks are free, and some you pay for. www.peanutpress.com has books in the Palm PDB format, www.barnesandnoble.com has some in the MS LIT format, and on the reader site www.microsoft.com/reader you can download some more free LIT books :)

You can also make your of books and put it in your favorite reader format. Project Gutenberg (http://promo.net/pg/) has thousands of public domain books there. I have made a few books from the classics there.

The µBook site has a list (http://www.gowerpoint.com/uBook_ebooks_nf.html) of free eBook sources. I recommend the Baen free eBook library (http://www.webscription.net/free/), which offers some fantasy and scifi books in a variety of formats including HTML, Text, and .prc (Mobipocket) formats.

If you use Ubook, it comes with a small dictionary, but you can download websters 1913? dictionary to replace it. There are also instructions on the site if you want to make your own dictionary for it. The beautiful thing about ubook, is that it will read books right out of a .zip or .rar file. So, even a large dictionary won't take up much space on your device or storage card, and it will read HTML, .txt,.rtf,.prc,and.pdb.
