I bought an external battery for my 3650 from ebay.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3030594052

I got it the other day and I can not figure out how it hooks onto my IPAQ. Any suggestions?

You need an Expansion Pack Plus, either CF or PCMCIA. That's the extended battery for those sleeves.

More like careful editing. Here's a link to the description (http://www.shopping.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpdirect/shopping/scripts/product_detail/product_detail_view.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1693553399.1057858878@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccefadciklfkejmcfngcfkmdflldfgg.0&product_code=253514-B21&cat_level=3&browse_link=true) from HP.

Overstock.com (http://www.overstock.com/se/Compaq_iPAQ_Extended_1840mAh_Removable_Battery.html) uses almost the exact same product description as the e-bay guy.

I know it's a pain in the @$$. You might be able to sell the battery to someone else or buy an ipaq sleeve cheap that uses those external batteries.

Yeah I know, but after doing some reading on here, I don't think it would do me much good anyways. I bought it because my internal battery is shot and I didn't want to have to open it up to replace the battery. But from what I just read, the internal battery has to be working anyways, so I guess I'll have to open her up. How hard of a job is it to replace the battery? I'm fairly skilled with a soldering iron (have installed many ps1 mod chips ;) ).

Thanks!
