power issues with the 555x

My 5555 has been experiencing occasional power losses. When I turn the device on it automatically powers off after a couple of seconds. The second time I turn on the unit's power it stays on. This has been happening about 1 out of 7 times I turn on the power. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I've had mine about a week now and havent seen anything like that.

In addition to the first issue, my 5555 will not charge beyond 92% while in USB charging mode... it is fine with the AC charger but USB has a limit. This may be normal but I haven't found any posts regarding this behavior.

USB charging is known to be flakey. The fact that you're experiencing this problem tells me that HP still needs to work on this. Unless you have to, I would use the AC adapter to charge the unit.

The problem lies in your USB port most likely. It may be under powered itself, and therefore can only provide so much power out. I'm guessing really, but I'm probably very close...

The 2215 seems to be plauged with the same problem. Sort of confirms my theory that there is something buggy with HPs Control Power Panel applet or other WM2003 changes
