my activesync has been saying to check my device for the status of my inbox. so i go to check my activesync on my dell, and it links me to an html document saying: The connection failed due to missing server information or user credentials. Tap Options, and then the Server tab to verify that your server name is correct. Then, tap Advanced to verify that your user credentials are correct and try again.

Error code: DEV_9


is there anyone that knows how to fix this?? i am clueless. thanks!

...have you done what it says to do?

On the PocketPC go to Start -> ActiveSync -> Tools -> Options -> Server and either delete any server name in the Server Name: box or go into the Advanced window and make sure the correct information is present. If your NOT synchronizing with a MIS server also go to the Schedule window and UNCHECK the top two checkboxes.
