I applied this update over the weekend when it was announced here on Thoughts. I DIDN'T have WiFi turned on, and everything still went ok. The update installed without a problem, and turned the adapter on by itself as part of the upgrade process.

I was able to attached to the network here at the office first thing Monday morning...

Well my reason for asking is that when I execute this update I get a message dialog continually asking for a Soft Reset. It appears to be in a loop. I did not have Wireless enabled but it did enable that itself.

I will try again.

All Fixed. I had another WLAN Update applied and it was conflicting with the latest v100.5.39. Uninstalled the older update and reapplied the newer patch and it installed correctly.
