is the remote controller for the mp3 player. It made it so easy to change tracks.

There's nothing comparable for the media player???

The Toshiba e570 and AudioVox Maestro had a remote control headphone unit available. It worked really well. So the software and OS supports it, it's just up to the hardware makers to include it.

I understand your pain, but mapping controls to the hardware buttons may help you some... such as making the up/down controls control the volume, the left/right controls control the tracks, etc. You can then control the music functions pretty quickly... I can control my Maestro with the screen off while it's inside its case.
