HP W2003 Upgrade dates for various Ipaqs-CHECK THE PURCHASE LINK

Hope I haven't posted a duplicate.

I was looking to see if HP has updated their site on the purchase of the upgrade to WM2003, and it appears that they have posted dates. (well, maybe just time frames, no specifics.)

If you purchased your iPAQ Pocket PC H5400, H3900 or H3800 series outside of the dates mentioned above, you may purchase the upgrade for the Pocket PC 2003 for $29.95 (US)*.

Looks like some of the rumors on dates were fairly acurate....HP has updated their link to thge purchase page, but in HP fashion it lists the Compaq PPC2002 upgrade...

We're getting closer to WM2003..... :roll:

The purchase page has been updated. It looks like you can purchase WM2003 for the Ipaqs....

Is this the same version as the 2003 that comes with the 5555 or is anything left out?

Why is it that HP is letting pages that have dead ended links hit their production site??

This has been one of my BIGGEST complaints with this process from the beginning. Where the H€₤₤ is their QA Department?

You have to start from scratch. First go here:

Then click on Software & Peripherals (upper orange tab)

Then Handhelds & Calculators (right-hand grey box)

Then Handheld Software

Then Pocket PC Upgrades

And that ought to do it.


I copied these instructions from Paul P on the Brighthand Forum and it does work.

I was able to place my order. My estimated shipping date is 28-July-03.

In order to get this to work, you should click on the PRODUCT link and not the Add to Cart link. that will add the item to your cart and then get the purchasing process going.
