HP PPC2003 Upgrade Info!!!!!!

Just checked there web site. The upgrade will be available in July for the 5400 and 3900 series (English only first). The upgrade for the 3800 series will be available in October.

Looks like you will have to order a CD, that will be shipped to you two weeks after you order.

That is long time to wait for the 3800 upgrade...

I guess they just want to serve those people who can really resist upgrading... :|

yeah what's up with the HP purchase link? I want to purchase 2003 NOW...and not have to call them up...I wonder if it'll be working tommorow.

These upgrades will not be ready for shipping until the end of July. So that means there is a 5 week wait.

Just curious... where did you hear or read that they won't ship until the end of July? This page (http://www.hp.com/sbso/special/ppc_upgrade_faq.html) states that the "upgrade kits should be available in July." It doesn't actually specify when in July. (Though I am slightly wary of the words "should be." Kinda leaves it open for the date to slip a couple times. :))

All i can say is that the delivery date are pretty much concrete and if you order today you will be told 5 weeks delivery. 3XXX series not until October.

I can't find any info at all on the HP UK website about the upgrades

. All the iPAQ related stuff goes back to the US web which in turn says to check your regional web. Well I don't think i'm in too much of a rush anyway (at least i'm trying to convince myself that).
