The SE 608 with Sprint's unlimited data plan was just what I was waiting for.
So it looks as though the only BT offering is going to remain crappy GPRS.
Now if only there could be a Starbucks every 300ft, all would be ok.

I guess it wasn't meant to be. I was really looking forward to this phone so I could ditch my cf2031. Oh well, the search contiues...........

I bet Sprint balked about taking the phone, and that was the final straw for Sony Ericsson. Or something like that. :(
