I've just got setup with my ipaq 3870, and I was wondering that applications people recommended? Specifically a battery monitor and other Today page plugins. What about free vs Cost?

I'd suggest doing a search on this. There have been a few *very* recent threads on this exact topic in the Software forum.

I like Battery Pack 2003 from Omega One. It's $9.99 US and comes with free lifetime updates. Has the Today plugins, battery/memory monitors and more.

I'd suggest posting replies on the first link I gave instead. Those interested in the replies can visit these two threads. I think it's a good thing to keep threads like this up to date, so it's not a bad question to ask periodically, but these threads are extremely recent, and it's nice to avoid duplicate threads. Makes searching for the info too difficult when there's a ton of threads.
