"We're proud to announce this release of Agenda Fusion in conjunction with the launch of Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs." said John Psuik, President/CEO of Developer One. "As the Windows Mobile platform becomes more powerful, we're bringing enhancements to Agenda Fusion to meet the demands of mobile users who want to take full advantage of Windows Mobile software capabilities for managing their information."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/hansberry/2003/20030612-agendafusion5preview.gif" /><br /><br />The software also will work of course still work with Pocket PC 2002 and 2000 devices. No word on pricing yet, though Developer One has always been fair in the past. :) I am sure there will be a trial version as well for new Agenda Fusion owners. After all, you need something to put on your new Pocket PC 2003, right?

I hope Developer One will come through this time. For a year now I have chatted with their developers wanting to know will we see a Today screen plug-in for Agenda Fusion. We need it badly. Is the feature in Agenda Fusion 5.0? I sure hope so. :?

Is this upgrade only go to work if you have a PPC2003 device? Since us new I700 users still have PPC2002 with no commitment from Verizon yet on PPCPE2003.

This update will work with all versions of Pocket PC. John has been issuing the betas in .cab format, and they include versions for MIPS, SH3 and ARM/X-Scale, which means Pocket PC 2000, 2002 and 2003 support is in there.

It's still planned, but will come out sometime after 5.0 is released. Wish I had more definite info, but I don't. :(

I'm not quite sure why this was done, but the Year view posted on the D1 website in the previews (and thus the one posted here) is from an earlier "work in process" version. Check this link:

... to get a better idea of what some of the views, the tabs and the calendar view picker look like. I think you'll find them much more impressive than the screenshot shown here.

Just a few features:

- A true 12 month Year view
- A true Hourly Week view
- A new Hourly Day view
- A redesigned Month View - provides the ultimate combination of simple use, easy navigation from day to day and the most useful detail display available on the Pocket PC
- A redesigned Today View - now you can navigate to any date and see the best detail display about your day
- New Alarm Notes view
- Still the ultimate in Tasks views - so outstanding it didn't need changing
- Much improved view customization
- All view navigation controlled from bottom tabs
- Much more

There are lots of exciting changes and upgrades to Agenda Fusion 5.0, the winner of the Pocket PC Magazine's Best PIM award for 2002. Simply powerful, powerfully simple, simply the best!

Doug, you sound too much like you work for Dev1 8O

Do you have screen shots with indication of which view they represent (true Hourly Week view, Hourly Day view, etc.); the names alone don't tell much

No, I don't work for D1, although I'm a moderator (unpaid volunteer) for their forum on pocketnow.com. I'm just a big fan of AF, an exceptional product that I feel is often underappreciated in the face of the glitz and glitter and "the more features the better" mentality of the other guys.

I'd post more screen shots, but unfortunately this site doesn't support image uploads... they have to be a link to a website. I'm going to post a more complete set of screen shots on the D1 forum tomorrow, and I'll post a link here.

Thanks for your interest.
