StrataFlash is a NOR type Flash that supports XIP feature. Thus, it will not need DRAM space for loading PPC software during execution. Checkout the overall performance rating when it becomes available!

The LCD panel supports a finer dot pitch with LED front light to minimize the power consumption. Brightness difference between this panel and competing transflective is minimal in my opinion. Last, it comes with a Magnesium alloy enclosure! If it's not too big the magnesium case will kick @$$!!! I have owned several Vaois with their magnesium cases and they are much better than any cheap metallic painted cases out there!!

Dust is my concern with any type of reflective display........I hope to never go down that road again...

A new Pocket PC Thoughts reader named liur168 made a whopper of a first post in our thread about the new Gateway Pocket PC (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=124189#124189):

The LCD panel supports a finer dot pitch
Surely there are only two ways to decrease the dot pitch - same number of pixels on a smaller screen (a bad thing) or more pixels on the same size screen (a good thing - as long as the OS supports more than 320x240 pixels).

Sounds to me like it's yet another manufacturer trying to make a small screen sound like something desirable.

Well, either way, no one is going to buy one without confirmed specs, so I woudln't worry about it.
