I did a search in the forums and didn't find anything on spider solitaire.

Has anyone found a good version of this game for the pocket pc.

I am addicted to the desktop version.
I tried the one from MUD inc, but it kept causing my ipaq to lock up, and it didn't display stats. Although, this could be because it was a trial.

Have you tried SolPaq? http://games.mousepeople.com/solpaqdemo_setup.1.0.0.exe

Thank you,

I installed the trial version, but it doesn't let you change anything, and only lets you play the basic version.

If you have the full version, does it keep stats (games won/lost)?
Can you change the look of the Cards? I didn't like the way they look in the trial version.

Have you looked at CTcards?

The card backs are configurable - and you get the following:

Spider Solitiare
FreeCell Solitaire
Klondike
Poker Solitaire
Golf Solitaire
Pyramid Solitaire
BlackJack
Spades
BlackJack Solitaire
BlackJack Pyramid Solitaire
Chinese Solitaire

Here is a freeware version of Spider:

Patiences (http://www.not-big-deal.com/downloads.aspx?Page=downloads)

From the website:
"Patiences 3.0 is a collection of three popular solitaires - Free Cell, Klondike and Spider. All games offer an easy drag and drop interface, keep statistics of played games and allow customization. Every play has a number assigned to it. By the number, user can easily reproduce the play in future. "

There is a good reason why this game is named "patience".

Thanks Drop.

I just tried that one. Not bad, but I didn't see a way to undo a move or a hint option. I don't normally use the hint mode, but I do use the undo alot.

I agree, nosmohtac. I could use a little more speed as well. I guess I shouldn't complain. It is a freeware, after all. It is a very nice app. Pretty much do everything a Spider so do. Except the luxury of undo and, speed.

Thank you for that link.

Not bad either, but they want 14.99 for the new version, and it doesn't keep stats.

I would gladly pay $5-$15 for a version of spider just like the one that comes with WindowsXP
