I want to make a hard reset to my 3970 and wanna back up Pocket Informant. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Just syncronizing with outlook will be enough?

**WARNING - I've never done what you ask, but... ****

If you sync, you get the outlook data backed up. However, PI also uses a bunch of look aside files to make up for the limits of outlook. They are in a directory in "my documents". Back this up too. PI keeps it keys in these files and not the registry.

So, you SHOULD be able to hard reset, re-install PI and then copy the backed up directory voer the fresh directory and voila.

Be certain to use the exact same version of PI that you are running and created the files you are backing up

You might want to post this at the pocketinformant forums (http://www.pocketinformant.com/forums/).

Take a look in the My Documents folder on your PPC for a WebIS folder - you should back that up as well.
