problems with axim 5?

hey

I bougth the dell axim5 3 months a go, this past week the device
have been giving problems, and problems.

1) keep frozen up.

2) hard reset is not working,and went I get the divice to work keep frozing up. do eany one have the same problems. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Sounds like you should probably get a new unit from Dell.

Sounds like bad hardware to me, possibly a corrupt ROM chip. Time to contact Dell.

Funny, my Axim is three months old and I had to call Dell today to get a new one sent out.
The direction buttons, the up/down on the side and the main D Pad have both given up. I went through the usual "fixes", soft reset, hard reset (took the opportunity to install the A03 ROM) but nothing solves the problem.
The Dell Dude was helpful and said a replacement will arrive in a couple of days. Hope it has the PXA255 chip like my own one does.
