I just migrated from a Palm and used a program called "Birthdate" This let me take a friend/family contact and put all his childrens birthdays on his one contact entry. So when I looked at the birthdate list, all my friends childrens/nieces/nephews on the list. But when I looked at my contacts, I didn't have to create entries for 3 year olds.

I looked at several shareware ones that did not seem to be able to do this.

Anyone know of a program that does this?

I've been using VBirthday 3 Gold. It keeps a separate DB for your birthday entries. It will scan your contacts DB, but you can also add your own (i.e. the children). VBirthday Gold also displays birthdays on your today screen, if you want it to. Check it out here: http://www.vasilenok.com/products/vbirthdaygold.html

They also have a freeware version, but I don't think you can add separate birthdays to that one, it just scans your contacts DB. And it won't show on your today screen.

Thomas.

You might check out SyWare's PocketExtra (http://syware.com/prodlib/win_ce/pocketex/pocketex.htm).

I used this on my Palm and love it on my PPCPE. It doesn't allow for one record to contain everything, but it provides for reminders so you don't just see it the day it is due.

Hope this helps.
