doesnt sound great -- especially since the split is not down the middle of the keys...

I tried one for my ipaq and returned it almost the next day. It's cheaper than a stowaway but the quality difference is obvious - it has small, rubberized keys with fairly poor feedback (at least in comparison to the stowaway), isn't full size, and I couldn't stand having the spacebar split by the protruding hinge piece (it left my bending my thumbs in weird ways to hit the spacebar). In a nutshell, I didn't like it - but it may fit your hands better!

To addend: it was however, very small and very light so you may be willing to sacrifice a little and get used to the keys.

I bought one for my old Palm M505 and it was one of the worse keyboards I had tried. It was slow finger typing all the way...
