Is the TMobile MDA/O2-XDA pib compatible with the iPAQ 3800?

I want to know if the charger I have for my old iPAQ is already compatible before I try to plug it in or buy a new one...

Thanks,
Kenny.

It uses the same connector as one iPaq model (off the top of my head I think it's the 3600/3700), but the pinout isn't the same. I'm not sure whether the power pins are even the same. I wouldn't risk it.

The T-mobile charger has a removeable connector for the phone. this allows one to remove the phone connector and plug the charger into the cradle. I think you can just buy the phone connector part and connect it to a charger with the right voltage (5V) and current rating.

Another approach is to get a USB sync/charge cable and just charge your XDA from a PC's USB port. Since the phone charges from 5VDC the USB port's bus power works well - maybe just a bit slower than connecting it to the power supply. Of course the PC has to be running for the USB port to have power...
