When I purchased this program, I did so under the belief that there would be "frequent" updates to the program. There has not been an update to this program since February. As WebIS stated themselves, version 1 is a long way from what they plan on doing with the program. There have been a number of Pocket Informant updates since February.

Anyone know if they are still going to develop this program? Especially since it does not appear that Pocket Inbox will improve much in PPC 2003.

Thanks for any thoughts.

In the PI Forums, Alex mentions that he does have someone working on @mail, but it seems to be taking longer than expected. It seems that the limitations of the MS parts are causing problems.

To be fair, he had always said that this was not the finished version and hopefully a more complete version will arrive at some point.

Anyway, here is his note regarding timing, still a ways off:

2) @Mail - Within 3 months give or take a month, I hope to have a final release or at the very least a full public beta to provide to all current owners.

He also says a new update to PI is expected in about 45 days.

Hey Mark,

I'm not sure if you've seen this post on the PI Forums, but I think it answers your questions:
