SmallMenu Plus Automatic Shutdown

I have just install SmallMenuPlus 3.8 (http://tillanosoft.com/ce/smenu.html) into my Loox. I have also install IcBar v1.1 beta 1 (http://www.ictinus.com/icbar/index.html). Sometime, the SmallMenu will automatic shutdown and unable to start it again. Moreover, the "close" button of IcBar will also disappear at the same time. So I can't close my current application either by SmallMenu or IcBar easily.
So what's wrong with SmallMenuPlus? Is that just my problem or a bug?
