Just wondering, but are there any people here who oned the half-laptop half-PDA palmtop computers of the mid 90's? Here's a few links of where I found some of these ancient things.

Vadem C-1050 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004T2LM/ref=ase_handcomputerdepot-20/102-8028768-4310503)
Sharp Mobilon PV-600 (Looks a heck of a lot like the Vadem) (http://www.pdagold.com/hardware/detail.asp?DeviceID=26)
Phillips Velo (http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpid=1000029295&domain_id=16&meta_id=5)
HP Jornada 680 (http://www.hp.com/cposupport/prodhome/hpjornada610794.html)

I have an old Compaq PC Companion (http://www.gospacewaitress.com/pocketspace/archives/000344.html) I bought at a charity garage sale at my job a few weeks ago.

I took it home, put batteries in it, and played Solitaire.

Haven't done much else with it yet.

Hahah that guy in that thread things that the Companion is historical......he needs to get ahold of an HP95LX, then he can talk!!! I think I've only heard of one guy who has this in his "PDA Graveyard" maybe he'll pick up on this. We can talk about our old command-line PDA's (The calculator included in it had a solver too! It was awesome! The only reason I care about this is cuz I was on a 2nd place in state math team in Illinois this year.....)

Anyways, I thought those things were cool cuz they had modems built in but with broadband, those things are worthless.
