I used my Ipaq in my car by plugging the cheapo casette tape drive to CD adaptor in to the headphone jack on the Ipaq. Does your car have a CD or casette player? Is there a stereo in plug on your car stereo?

Is there such a thing as a CD input kit like the casette in kit?

Maybe this is totally unhelpful, but at least it was free.

There was a front page post about the Arkon powered mount (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12541&highlight=car+automobile+mount). It is expensive but it might suit your needs.

Check out:

Great for mounting PDA's in cars, inexpensive and very secure.

How inconvenient. I bought a car with an am/fm cassette player and the first thing I changed was the radio. I installed a Kenwood am/fm cd/mp3 player in it. I put a disc with mp3's on it and the car stereo plays it. No messing around with power or interface cables for me. I don't need a cd changer when I can burn a disc with 13 or more albums on it.

This it still one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Here are a few:

Arkon (http://www.arkon.com/), which was alluded to earlier
The Clip (http://www.theclip.com/mall/mounts.asp), also mentioned earlier
Seidio (http://www.seidioonline.com/store/listFeaturedItems.asp#mount) ProClip (http://www.proclipusa.com), which I just found out about recently
