I've had my e750 for a couple of weeks now and want to setup an 802.11b link between my e750 and my desktop for wireless internet access on my e750. I don't have an access point or router/gateway but plan on getting something soon. Any recommendations on what I should get? I have DSL service and run WinXP Pro on my desktop. Also, is setup pretty easy or is there some pain involved?

Thanks!

For about 2 years now I've used a Linksys 4-Port Wireless Cable/DSL gateway router. This allows me to have wireless devicesas well as use Cat 5 cables for my other wired computers. The Linksys as worked flawless. I have a wireless laptop and my HP Ipaq 5455 working just fine.
Setup is very easy. :D to

I have been using a D-Link WAP/Router (614+), it was easy to set up out of the box, and has worked without problems for over 6 months (replaced my 713-P)...

Ditto on the Lynksys.

Thanks so far for the info. Both the Linksys and D-Link look like very solid, easy to setup products. The D-Link has a $20 mail-in rebate from Amazon until 6/1, so I'm kind of leaning that way. What is the range like on the D-Link? I came across a CNet review for it and they dinged it for that in an otherwise stellar review.

On the subject of WiFi and the e750, I've heard a couple reports that it doesn't work too well, if at all, with WEP enabled networks. Is this true, and if it is, are there any settings to get around it? Do any other PPC's with built-in wifi (like iPaq) have this problem?

WEP works just fine, either 64 or 128 bit on the e750.

I'm on a Netgear MR814, which can be easily found for $50, and I plugged it in and the Wi-Fi was working almost instantly (and I even quickly figured out how to map a network drive so I can stream MP3's!)
