HAH! Awesome! I was thinking of getting one like that. But considering I'm worrying on expanding my focus, I was thinking of this:

THOUGHTS

Damn, too many letters.

THOTS ?
THOGHTS ?

Ugg, forget that. I'll just stick with my KENSAI license plate unless anyone has a creative idea. Maybe PPCT?

I wish it was mine!!!!!!

dont you just love this scenario:

you are sitting in a restaurant and someone calls out "Would the owner of a black Benz come outside, you lights are on"...and then you stand up and people give you odd looks...

I dont know the moral of that story.............

Not to be the wet blanket, and it probably doesn't matter, but sometimes people can be finicky about having their license place number displayed on the internet, especially if they don't even know about it. Just something to think about.

I like PPCT. Wouldn't mean much to those who don't know the site, but oh well.

I´m pretty sure that the car owner will be very happy when he finds out his passion is recognized and with so much support :D

jason,

you are right. that car belongs to kurt from microsoft.

the reason i know is because i attended a pocket pc meeting that kurt hosted and he presented the audience with that very same license plate. he told us that he just got it from the dmv. this was about a year ago.

Yes it belongs to Kurt. I attend the LA PPCUG meeting regularly and that is Kurt's car. He has another pretty sports car as well. Hmmm...I wonder why Microsoft charges so much for all their software suites?

It's only a 3 series BMW, Now if he had a 7 series (or even the new 5 series model that has just come out) THEN I might be impressed.

Saw this fancy foreign sports car once with the license plate PAIDCASH.

Yeah, those aren't that expensive. Just a little bit better than a 325. I'd buy one here, but I'd have to wait two months to have it made and shipped to me.

But then WHO KNOWS what they charge for 3 series car in the US?

I really do like the 5 series car. I saw one on my last trip to BMW München. VERY NICE! :way to go:

A few of my favorites --

MYWABBT (On a VW Rabbit)

SVEN (On a Volvo; I'm assuming that was the car's name, not the owner's).

FERRARI (on a Pinto)

The absolute WORST --

CEO (I can't imagine the ego to have that on a plate).

I know they have a place here that sells to US Military only. They sell American Spec cars they get delivered straight from the assembly line. They sell the 325 for about $24000 which is about a $4000 discount from the US sticker price. The only problem is that it takes 2 months to get your car.

AND you don't have to pay sales tax either! I picked up my Passat in Vogelweh for dirt cheap. Speaking of which, don't patronize that place on the corner by the Pizza Hut. Those bastards tried to pull the bait and switch on me, and the only reason I think we got out of there with a car is because my wife just about had a nervous breakdown.

This may be getting a bit...well... um... math-geeky.

My all-time-favorite, which I did not actually see but only heard of, is an Acura Integra with the license plate DXDT. Maybe it's a hoax, but I like it.

Why, you like bad design?

Sorry sir, Bangle is an idiot and he is about to ruin that brand. Skip the 7 series, buy a A8L and drive with class.

I don't deny it - but you obviously picked up SOME calc if you got the joke. I liked math in high school. When I got to college I discovered "Math Is Hard", and got harder each course I took. Linear Algebra... DiffEq... Eeeeeek....

When they started to have us integrate over curved surfaces, I lost it.

I liked math in high school.

High school math was fun. Trig, algebra, geometry... You name it, I loved it (except calculus). We even had a math cheer and a "Math 12 Fight Song" :)

When I got to college I discovered "Math Is Hard"....

I became somewhat dissuaded on the subject about the same time.

For me - same with Physics. I loved statics. But E&M? <shiver> Bad thing, I know, for a CompE.... Oh well.
